An American Revolution war memorial in Edgar County, Illinois honors soldiers of the American Revolution who are buried in Edgar County. The first plaque, dedicated in 1921 by the Madam Rachel Edgar Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, names Elijah Austin, Hugh Barr, James Benson, Gurdin Burnham, Elijah Clay, John Conrey, William Gannon, Sr., Ferrel Hester, William Hurst, William James, James Knight, Sr., William Meadows, William Means, Asa Moore, Stephen Ogden, George Redmon, Daniel Rhodes, Daniel Rowell, Wilson Tharp, John Tutwiler, and Abraham Wood. A second plaque on the obverse of the boulder, dedicated in 1974 by the same chapter, adds William Craig, William Combs, John Edmiston, Ambrose Hotchkiss, James Mullins, Aaron Pinson, and Jacob Reed.
