A statue called a "Billy Yank" was erected by the Restore the Glory committee to replace a metal statue erected by Ford Post #14 GAR that had been removed by 1920. Its face is that of Chad Albert, who stood motionless four hours atop the pedestal during a cemetery tour on September 30, 2000. The statue is dedicated to the men who fought to save the Union from 1861 to 1865 as the Glory was restored on May 24, 2003.
