Blue Springs is a spring in Marion County, Florida, on the southern part of the Ocklawaha River. Classified as a third-magnitude spring, it is now submerged by the Rodman Reservoir. Its name comes from the color of its notably blue water. The English name Blue Springs translates the earlier Spanish name Las Aguas Azules, and both names reflect the striking blue appearance that defined the spring.
