Panorama Point is Nebraska’s highest natural point at 5,429 feet above sea level, located on the High Plains in the state’s far southwest near the meeting area of Nebraska and Wyoming along Colorado’s northern boundary. Rather than a dramatic mountain, it is a gentle rise in open plains, notable for its wide views rather than steep relief. From the top, visitors can see the nearby state corner marker, broad grassland, and on clear days the Rocky Mountains far to the west. On High Point Bison Ranch, it is reached by drive, and it is best known as a quiet expression of the Great Plains at their highest.
