New Ipswich Mountain is a summit on the Wapack Range ridgeline in south-central New Hampshire, within the town of New Ipswich, between Barrett Mountain and Stony Top on Pratt Mountain. The 22-mile Wapack Trail crosses the mountain, making it an important point along one of the range’s defining routes. Though the summit is largely wooded, rocky ledges just below it provide broad views over the surrounding countryside. The mountain is also significant as a local drainage divide: its eastern slope feeds the Souhegan, Merrimack, and Atlantic, while its western slope drains through the Millers and Connecticut to Long Island Sound.
