John J. Fitzpatrick was one of Michigan's great legislators from 1948 to 1966. His family gave this caboose to Heritage Park so that all who use it will remember him. The City of Taylor also appreciated the effort of Congressman John Dingell in locating this antique wooden caboose and neighboring boxcar for Heritage Park.
