Nobles Trail - Battle Creek Ford

In an August 28, 1852 account, J. D. Randall recorded that the road continued west on a fairly level route through very thick large timber to Battle Creek, where the banks were steep but the ford was good, with a swift current twenty-five feet wide, two feet deep, and very clear good water.
