Storm Peak is a 13,495-foot mountain in Colorado's San Juan Mountains, about 3.5 miles north of Silverton on Bureau of Land Management land west of the Continental Divide. Its runoff feeds tributaries of the Animas River, and its steep rise above Cement Creek gives it a strikingly abrupt profile. Nearby are the unofficial summits East Storm and Hancock Peak. Storm Peak is closely tied to skiing: its north ridge forms part of the Silverton Mountain ski area, it is known for expert heliskiing, and it hosted the International Speed Skiing Championship in 1982 and 1983. The name has been officially recognized and appears in publications by 1906.
