Governor Mike DeWine dedicated this site to honor the lives lost, the sacrifices made, and the bravery of many Ohioans who cared for others during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was intended as a place of peace, solace, and remembrance for Ohioans in this time of collective history. The sculpture "After the Storm" is by Kevin Lyles of Gallipolis, Ohio.
