The former Immaculate Conception Church and School stood on this site from 1924 until it was razed in 2018. Rev. Michael Kosko celebrated the first Mass at midnight on Christmas Eve in 1924, and the last Mass was celebrated on Sunday, March 2, 2014, at 8:15 a.m. The school opened in 1926 under the direction of the Sisters of Saints Cyril and Methodius of Sacred Heart Villa, Danville, PA., and functioned for 59 years until closing in 1985. Its sports teams were known as the Crusaders. Pastors were Rev. Michael Kosko from 1923 to 1926, Rev. John J. Lach from 1926 to 1960, Rev. Milan) Fred Bach from 1960 to 1983, Rev. Anthony D. Ficko from 1983 to 2000, and the Whiting/Robertsdale Catholic Community Cluster from 2000 to 2014. The original cornerstone read: S. R. C. Kostol & Skola Nep P. Panny Marie A.D. 1924.
