Built circa 1899 by S.W. and Elizabeth Henderson Labrot, this house belonged to Labrot, superintendent of the L&N Railroad Creosote Plant. In 1902, the Labrots sold the house to the Louisville and Nashville Railroad Company. Its construction, using vertical weatherboards with battens, is typical of Louisville and Nashville Railroad buildings of the period.
