Indian Peak is a mountain in the Gila Wilderness of western New Mexico, in the Mogollon Mountains about 9 miles southeast of Mogollon. Statewide rankings place it as New Mexico's 203rd highest peak and 1077th by prominence. It can be reached by the Holt Apache Trail, and its location in the Gila Wilderness makes it part of one of the state's most remote mountain landscapes. Its significance lies less in a single event or attraction than in its place within the rugged backcountry terrain that characterizes the Mogollon range.
