This one-part masonry vernacular commercial building was built by D.A. Alissandratos. It housed his business, United Divers, which provided sponge diving supplies. It later provided space for the Tarpon Leader Newspaper, law offices, a Ford dealership and a laundry. It was subsequently used as a sponge warehouse after Nicholas Arfaras purchased it. The building was restored in 1985 for use as a bank.
