Northeast District Park is a 66-acre public recreation area in Chatham County, North Carolina, operated by the county parks and recreation department. It combines sports facilities, open space, and a pond-centered walking area. Its amenities include a lighted regulation baseball field with bleachers, two regulation tennis courts, and a multipurpose field for soccer, ultimate, football, rugby, and other field sports, with seating for about 150 people. The park also has a restroom and concession building, a picnic shelter overlooking the pond, a playground, parking, and a quarter-mile asphalt trail around the water. The pond remains from the farm that occupied the land before public development.
