The Tennessee Valley Railroad and Museum operates over 3 miles near the original East Tennessee, Virginia and Georgia Railroad right of way to the East Chattanooga terminus, using pre-1930 equipment. The line passes through the 984-foot-long Missionary Ridge Tunnel, built in 1852-54, the only horseshoe railway tunnel in the state. It is the official Tennessee State Railroad Museum.
