Jacob Wolters erected this log cabin at Industry, Austin County, Texas, in 1835. In August 1941, the Wolters-Herder Family Association moved it to Wolters Park in Schulenburg, Texas. It was dedicated on June 14, 1942, to the memory of past generations, to the enjoyment of the present, and to the care and preservation of the generations to come.
