Chambers Road Covered Bridge, near Olive Green, Ohio, is a historic covered road bridge built in 1874 by Everett S. Sherman. It is especially important as an extremely rare surviving example of a Childs Truss bridge, preserving an unusual structural design from 19th-century Ohio bridge building. A century after its construction, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. Its importance rests in both its age and the uncommon truss form it retains, making it a significant remnant of Ohio’s transportation and engineering past.
