The Mid-Atlantic Air Museum at Reading Regional Airport in Reading, Pennsylvania, is an aviation museum and restoration facility founded by Russ Strine. It emphasizes preserving and actively restoring historic warplanes, classic airliners, and uncommon civilian and military aircraft, with many of them also appearing on the airshow circuit. It is best known for its annual World War II Weekend Air Show, hosted since 1990 and drawing nearly 100,000 people. Its major restoration work includes a Northrop P-61B Black Widow recovered from New Guinea in 1989. Continued expansion, including additional hangars and storage buildings, reflects its dual role as a public attraction and an active preservation center.
