Bradley's Covered Bridge, also called the Long Cane Covered Bridge, stood near Troy in South Carolina as one of only three covered bridges once remaining in the state. Built in 1892 by Y. P. Reagan after an earlier crossing was washed away, it took its original name from nearby John Bradley's mill and the local economy it served. Its Howe truss design, combining iron rods with a mostly wooden frame, reflected a transition in bridge construction. Rising 30 feet and spanning 163 feet over Long Cane Creek, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977 before arson destroyed it on July 8, 1979.
