Scottown Covered Bridge spans Indian Guyan Creek east of Scottown on State Route 67 in Windsor Township, Ohio. Built in the 1870s, with sources giving either 1874 or 1877, the 85-foot bridge uses a traditional timber covered design identified as multiple Kingpost, or multiple Kingpost and Queenpost, construction. It survived several early floods and was strengthened in 1934 by adding a Burr arch and steel tie rods to reinforce the aging wooden structure. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975, it remains one of the region’s surviving covered bridges, valued for both its engineering history and its place in the rural landscape.
