The Horticulture Building was built in 1927 as a unique structure with a center courtyard containing a pond and fountain that many enjoyed. It housed food displays along with grains, crops, flowers, and hobby craft. At the new Century Avenue site, the building measured 48'x160' and included all horticulture, crops, foods, and the DNR fish exhibit.
