A replica of a typical Colonial-era corn crib was built here in 2012 as an Eagle Scout project by Scott Bell. It includes material reclaimed from a Colonial-era corn crib on Kent Island and represents what may have been used at the Wye Mill. The granite blocks beneath it are thought to be ballast from a 17th or 18th sailing vessel. Its wide end boards are typical of the work of 18th- and 19th-century water-powered sawmills like the one that operated on this site from the late 1700s until 1875.
