The Oglesby World War I Memorial is dedicated to the soldiers and sailors of Oglesby, Illinois, who offered their service and lives at the nation’s call in the Great World War, 1914-1918. Its Roll of Honor records the names of those who served, with a star marking those killed in action: John Bazydlo, Thomas M. Larkin, John Margis, Luigi Miloni, Walter Narutauitz, Onafria Rapini, George Slagel, Edmund Tavurne, Giacondo Tonello, and Sylvester Wargin.
