Lime Peak is a summit in Arizona’s Little Dragoon Mountains, north of Interstate 10 between Benson and Willcox and northwest of Dragoon. One of three named peaks in this small range, it reflects changing official usage over time. In 1935, the United States Coast and Geodetic Survey applied the name Lime to the tallest of the Mae West peaks, but in 1984 the U.S. Board on Geographic Names formally placed Lime Peak at its present location. The summit has also been called Johnson Peak. Along with the nearby Mae West Peaks, its naming history gives this part of the range a notably colorful local identity.
