Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park is a 167-acre public recreation area in northeastern Ohio, created in 1949 from land at Nelson Ledges and Kennedy Ledges. Its defining feature is a rugged landscape of angled rock ledges rising about 50 to 60 feet, with narrow passages, deep fissures, waterfalls, and shaded ravines. About 3 miles of main hiking trails lead through formations with names such as the Devil's Icebox, Indian Pass, and Old Maid's Kitchen, while varied plant life adds to the park's appeal. Though compact, the park is known for dramatic scenery, hazardous cliffs, and recent improvements including a glass observation bridge opened in 2025.
