Keland House is a historic Racine, Wisconsin, residence designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1954 for Karen Keland and Willard Keland. Also known as the Keland-Johnson House and now called the Boyd Home, it was built nearly 50 years after Wright’s Thomas P. Hardy House in the same city. Set on a bluff above the Root River and partly cantilevered over a ravine, the roughly 5,000-square-foot house is a large-scale example of Wright’s Usonian design. Its plan centers on multiple wings around an inner atrium, with brick, a copper roof, and built-in furnishings designed by Wright. It remains a privately owned residence.
