Mineral Mound State Park is a 541-acre public recreation area on the shores of Lake Barkley in western Kentucky. It offers lakeside day-use amenities that include an 18-hole golf course with a clubhouse, a boat ramp, a fishing pier, and a picnicking area. The park takes its name from Mineral Mound, the mansion of Willis B. Machen that formerly stood on this property. Today it continues to serve visitors as a lake-centered destination known primarily for golf and access to the water.
