Berkshire Botanical Garden in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, is a twenty-four-acre botanical garden with collections of more than 3,000 species and varieties, especially plants suited to the Berkshires. Founded in 1934 as the Berkshire Garden Center, it includes some of the oldest public display gardens in the United States. It remains significant both as a garden and a park, demonstrating how ornamental and regional plantings can be successfully adapted to the local landscape.
