This classical revival home was built in 1901 for S. G. and Emma More. Architect Milton Earl Beebe designed it using 2x6 foot balloon framing, clapboard siding, and a field stone foundation. The More family owned the entire block and built an ice house, carriage house, and barn on the property, which was surrounded by a wrought iron fence.
