Button Bay State Park is a 253-acre Vermont state park in Ferrisburgh on Lake Champlain that combines lakeside recreation, camping, and nature education. Designed for both day use and overnight stays, it offers boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, picnicking, wildlife watching, water sports, winter sports, and a wide range of family camping facilities, including 73 campsites, lean-tos, cabins, and full campground services. Its distinctive Button Point Natural Area includes Button Island, a peninsula with mature forest, and the park’s nature center, where rangers lead interpretive programs such as night hikes, campfire activities, amphibian explorations, and nature crafts and games.
