Macedonia Baptist Church was organized in 1856, and its existing building was constructed in 1898. It is the oldest Baptist church building in Livingston Parish. Drinking water was furnished by a ground water spring, and the surrounding area was settled by Anglo-Saxon Protestants in the 1800's.
