Dr. Edward Albin, the first physician in Overland, and his wife, Margaret Roosevelt Albin, a distant relative of President Theodore Roosevelt, built Overland Manor in 1902. The brick Victorian-style home was built on a little over 6 acres. Originally, a large porch wrapped around two sides of the house, but it was enclosed in the mid 1940's.
