One of the few remaining Lincoln Highway markers, this circa 1928 object was part of the 3,000 markers placed along the highway by the Boy Scouts of America in 1928, symbolizing one of the nation's first cross-country highways. It was relocated to this site in May 1996 and was designated a Will County Historic Landmark on September 15, 2016 by the Will County Historic Preservation Commission and the Will County Board.
