Maggies Peaks is a twin-summit mountain in the Sierra Nevada southwest of Lake Tahoe within California’s Desolation Wilderness. Its two summits, about 0.7 miles apart, rise to roughly 8,499 feet on the north and 8,703 feet on the south. The peaks are especially noted for their commanding overlook of Lake Tahoe, offering broad views across the lake and the surrounding high country. Within the wilderness, they are a prominent scenic destination above the Tahoe basin.
