Doe Hill Mountain in North Carolina’s High Country lies northwest of Linville Falls and remains undeveloped within a landscape bordered by tree farms and surrounding roads. Pink Ridge extends from its northern side, and its slopes form feeder streams that flow toward the North Toe River. Because of those headwaters, the mountain is part of the small upland landscape that helps shape the river system in this section of western North Carolina.
