Malvern’s early clay and brick plants employed many workers. A clinker is overfired molten clay formed when too much heat causes the clay to fuse together and become distorted. This particular clinker came from Kopp Clay of Malvern, was purchased by Dominick Cinson in 1969, and was donated to the Malvern Historical Society in 2009 by Joe Klekotta.
