London and A.R. Dyche Memorial Park are burial places for several Kentucky congressmen. Wm. H. Randall (1822-81) was a lawyer, county clerk, judge, and 8th district representative in the 38th and 39th Congresses, and was buried in a family plot on East 1st Street. Vincent Boreing (1839-1903) was a newspaperman, 1st lieutenant in the Union army, school superintendent, and 11th district representative in the 56th and 57th Congresses, and was buried in A.R. Dyche Memorial Park. Also buried in A.R. Dyche Memorial Park are D.C. Edwards (1861-1938), who was in the lumber business, served as president of The National Bank in London, and represented the 11th district in the 59th through 61st Congresses; Finley Hamilton (1885-1940), a lawyer who served in the World War I Signal Corps and was elected at large to the 73rd Congress; and Wm Lewis (1868-1959), a commonwealth’s attorney and state representative who filled John Robsion’s unexpired term in the 80th Congress and was seated in 1948.
