Thomas L. Hall, James E. Bailes, Fred T. Miller, Walter O. Leazer, Harvey F. McManus, and Clyde W. Stevens were six members of Company G, 118th Infantry, 30th Division, and with them 31 other members of the company were killed in action and 103 others were wounded in Belgium and France from Sept. 29th to Oct. 18th 1918, when the 30th Division broke the Hindenburg Line, captured Bellicourt, Montbrehain, Becquigny, Brancourt, Molain, and Yaux Andigny, and crossed the La Selle River.
