An M-48 medium tank, nicknamed "Patton," with a 90mm main gun and a top speed of 40 mph, was donated by Aberdeen Proving Ground to Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States Post 8185 in 1991 and dedicated on 10 November 1991 to all service members who defended the country from 1775 to the present.
