Dock 79 stands on once-neglected riverfront land that had been used by Florida Rock Properties for concrete mixing and gravel storage. Seeing potential in the old concrete plant directly south of Nationals Park, Florida Rock Properties partnered with developer MRP Realty to transform the site into a mixed-use community. Dock 79 now includes 305 apartment units, destination restaurants, a vibrant public plaza, and a riverfront promenade as the first phase of a four-phase, 1.1 million square feet development at ultimate buildout.
