Rock Creek Wilderness is a federally designated wilderness area on the Oregon Coast within Siuslaw National Forest, established in 1984 alongside the nearby Drift Creek and Cummins Creek wilderness areas. Covering 7,486 acres, it is defined by steep slopes, dense forest, heavy brush, and a broad ridge between Rock Creek and Big Creek as they flow west toward the Pacific Ocean. With no developed trails or trailheads, it remains notably undeveloped. Its coniferous rainforest includes old-growth Douglas-fir and Sitka spruce, while its streams and ridge support endangered Oregon silverspot butterflies and migrating salmon, steelhead, and coastal cutthroat trout.
