Swoveberg, also known as Swovenberg, is a low mountain in eastern Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley. Its main peak reaches 853 feet in Lower Saucon Township, east of Hellertown, with the Hellertown Reservoir along its southern side. The mountain belongs to the Reading Prong of the Appalachian Mountains. Its name derives from the German Schwaben Berg, meaning “Swabia Mountain,” and reflects the Pennsylvania German heritage of the surrounding region.
