Amangiri is a luxury resort at Canyon Point, Utah, in the Glen Canyon National Recreation region, operated by Aman Resorts since its opening in 2009. Designed by Marwan Al-Sayed, Rick Joy, and Wendell Burnett on a 600-acre desert parcel obtained through a congressionally approved land swap with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, it is known for minimalist architecture that frames expansive desert views and for a sandstone escarpment rising into the main pool. Originally built with 34 suites, it expanded in 2020 with Camp Sarika’s 10 tented pavilions. Its spa, dining, activities, photogenic setting, and exclusivity brought wide attention, and plans for 36 private residences were announced in 2022.
