Stoops Ferry-Shousetown Road was one of the oldest roads in Allegheny County and was rebuilt as a modern highway and dedicated on December 1, 1934, by the Board of County Commissioners: Chas. C. McGovern, chairman, W. D. Mansfield, and C. M. Barr.
