Station Cove Falls is a sixty-foot cascade waterfall near Walhalla, South Carolina, in the Andrew Pickens Ranger District of Sumter National Forest and near Oconee Station State Historic Site. Reached by an easy three-quarter-mile hike with a single stream crossing, the route passes beneath mature basswood, buckeye, and American beech. In March and April, the approach is especially known for one of South Carolina’s largest wildflower displays, making the falls notable not only for the waterfall itself but also for the rich forest setting and seasonal blooms that surround it.
