The St. Joer/Orr Cabin was first owned by Ephraim St. Joer in Clover/Rush Valley and was later purchased by Hamilton "Hammy" Orr, who lived in it with his brother Rodney. Cliff Carson moved in with Hammy at age 3 after his father died, was schooled in Clover and Tooele, and later served as Tooele County Sheriff from 1970-74. In 1989, the Clifford Carson Family gave the cabin as a gift, and it was relocated to Gardner Village.
