Henry Mountain is a 13,261-foot summit in Colorado’s southern Sawatch Range, rising within the Fossil Ridge Wilderness of Gunnison National Forest about 7.8 miles northwest of Pitkin. As a thirteener, it ranks among the higher peaks in this part of the range and is notable not only for its elevation but also for its prominence. Its location in a federally protected wilderness gives it a remote, undeveloped character that reflects the central Colorado high country.
