Fort Jennings was completed in 1812 and stood until sometime in 1814, during which 12 unknown soldiers died there while serving in the War of 1812 and helping defend the United States of America. Although the exact location of their bodies is not known, they are remembered for their spirit, courage, bravery, and ultimate sacrifice.
