Lives were lost in the Villa Rica explosion on Dec. 5, 1957, including Margaret Berry, Rob Broom, Dr. Jack Burnham, Carolyn Davis, Johnny Dyer, O.T. Dyer, Kenneth Hendrix, Oscar Hixon, Rozella Johnson, Bobby Roberts, Ann Pope Smith, and Carl Vinter.
