Arrowhead State Park, now the Arrowhead Area at Lake Eufaula State Park, is a 2,200-acre public recreation area on a peninsula of Eufaula Lake near Canadian in southeastern Oklahoma. Developed around Arrowhead Lodge, a state-built resort that opened in 1965, the area shifted over time as the lodge passed from state to federal ownership, then to the Choctaw Nation, and later to Narconon for use as an inpatient drug treatment center. The surrounding park remained a public destination, offering camping, swimming, trails, equestrian facilities, marina access, group camps, and an 18-hole golf course that preserves a clear link to the site’s resort-era origins.
